The MN1 wasn’t designed to excel in just one setting—it was designed to feel at home wherever the music takes you.

Developed in collaboration with Schilke Music Products, the MN1 reflects Morris Northcutt’s ongoing pursuit of warmth, resonance, clarity, and versatility. Its comfortable, semi-flat rim contour is paired with a medium-shallow C cup, a #27 throat, and a refined, balanced, and efficient backbore design.

The shallowest mouthpiece in the MN series, the MN3 draws inspiration from the classic Schilke 13A4a. Morris describes it as his “lead” setup.

The MN4 is Morris’s front-of-stage commercial setup. It draws some inspiration from the classic Schilke 14A4a. Its C cup is slightly deeper than the MN3, supporting the rich, brilliant sound he seeks from the bottom of the range to the top.
